What a cool photo!

In this blog post I am sharing some of my thoughts on the film, which features appearances by Tom Waits, Patti Smith, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Michael McClure and many others as well as some archival footage of Kerouac himself (w/ Allen Ginsberg)

Part one of my two part review of the DVD/CD combo of the same title. The film does feature interviews with  Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Carolyn Cassady, Tom Waits, Patti Smith and many more as well as on scene footage.

The music on the CD is by Son Volt/Uncle Tupelo’s Jay Farrar and Death Cab For Cuties’ Benjamin Gibbard.
